Eagles Nest Cottage

We loved this place. It was very well kept and stocked with all the items you wish to have in Airbnb. The location was amazing with great Bayview, ocean access and so peaceful. Highly recommended!!!

Eagle’s nest was perfect, from the adorable cozy cottage to the exquisite sunset views. We arrived and easily got into the home. The bedrooms were very clean and quite comfortable. The TVs were easy to access, although we rarely watched. The bathrooms were extra clean. We loved the coffee bar in the kitchen, which had many little surprises (good coffee, tea, honey, varying creamers). The view of the backyard flowers and water front, through large glass windows and doors was enticing. We used the fire-pit several nights as the sun set. A perfect ending to each say! The accessibility to the bay beach, from the cottage, was just a few stairs. This private beach was wonderful; we enjoyed viewing eagles fly by and seals swim by. The cottage was a perfect location to easily and quickly access Bar Harbor, Acadia, Southwest Harbor, etc. Leslie and Sarah left maps, recommendations and “things to do” information which was quite helpful. We definitely recommend Eagle’s Nest. If I could give it 6

5 stars – A fantastic stay! We had an amazing time staying at Leslie’s place! The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The beds were super comfortable, the house is beautifully decorated and all the amenities (Wi-Fi, kitchen supplies, toiletries) were thoughtfully provided. Also, the fire pit and back yard views were really great. The location was perfect—close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Leslie was an exceptional host—friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and they even provided some great local tips that made our trip extra special. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Our stay at Leslie’s property was fantastic! Great location with abundant wildlife, we got to see the seals on the beach, the birds fishing, and a deer also paid a visit. Close to Bar Harbor and Ellsworth, but private with lots to do while relaxing. Also super responsive for any questions or needs. Would definitely stay again!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at eagle nest! Leslie has thought of EVERYTHING and made our stay so comfortable. The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed.. and more! The location was perfect! Absolutely beautiful waterfront view, fun beach to explore (we spotted harbor seals in the bay), and amazing sun sets. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

What a wonderful stay we had at the Eagle's Nest! Being right on the ocean, we were able to walk across the large yard and take in the beautiful Maine coast. Our four kiddos thoroughly enjoyed the bedroom with bunk beds. The house was exceptionally clean and we'll organized and Leslie was so thoughtful providing all of the amenities and considerations throughout including available sleep noise machines which we had forgotten. We're quite accustomed to using those, so we were very grateful for that. We also enjoyed the selection of games. And it was an easy hop to Bar Harbor and Acadia. The kitchen had everything we needed ( and then some!). Can't wait to return next time we take a trip to Maine :)
