If I could give this property more than 5 stars, I would! The cottage is absolutely adorable—from the decor inside to the absolutely stunning backyard and private beach access. Within minutes of arriving, an eagle flew over the yard (the property is well named!). But what made our stay extra special were all the thoughtful touches and details from the host, including lots of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, laundry pods, coffee, games, phone chargers, and more—all our needs were covered, and our stay was super comfortable. Highly highly recommend this property!

Leslie's home was absolutely amazing! The location, the views, the space...everything was perfect! We especially loved that we saw seals every day almost right in the backyard and an eagle one day. We would stay here again and would recommend anyone else too also!

The most PERFECT Airbnb! I’ve stayed in Maine before & allll over the world and this was a top 3 location for me (and our entire group). The space was spotless, kitchen was fully stocked, mattresses and bed sheets/comforters were incredibly comfy, games were amazing, and the fire pit was exceptional! The hosts are incredibly thoughtful & every little touch went such a long way for our group! I would 1,000% stay here again over and over!

Remarkable find! A place to completely melt into peace and feel at home. Gorgeous backyard stretching out to a private beach area where stunning sunsets drop In front of you. I couldn’t believe how beautiful the setting was. Lots of room to spread out and build a lovely fire under the moon. House was easy to get into. Everything was spotless and very nicely decorated with the charm of a coastal cottage. Host provided everything needed to make myself at home. I really appreciated the Q&A guide, great local travel book that helped me refine my trip, and complimentary local jam. Generous coffee/tea bar downstairs and in master bedroom. Everything so well thought out. When booking, had concerns it may be too far from Acadia Natl park and Bar Harbor (the focus of the trip) but I actually enjoyed the scenic drive in and out and was happy at end of days to leave any crowds behind. Why stay in a hotel room when you can have your own private piece of Maine paradise?

This place was amazing. The house itself was great--super cute, really comfortable beds, everything you could need in the kitchen, games to play, and Leslie even gave us local blueberry jam (delicious!) and two reusable bags to go get groceries with. But the outside was incredible!! We came here to go to Acadia with our three young kids, but parts of Acadia were super busy. It felt so nice to come back here after a day out. The kids LOVED playing on the beach, and they saw crabs and seals. They also thought the high tide and low tide was the coolest thing. It just felt so nice to have this little private haven for them to explore. They also have a great fire pit in the backyard, and sitting around a fire at dusk and watching the sunset over the water was pretty incredible. We would love to come back to Acadia and we will definitely stay here again!

Loved our stay, the home was so beautiful and had so many welcoming touches. And make sure you go down by the river, it is so beautiful and feels like you are in a different place. We were so comfortable here!
